Respite Care in South Devon
Sometimes, a little extra support is all that's needed to recover well - or simply to take a breath.
At South Devon Care Services, we offer short-term respite care across all four of our warm and welcoming supported living homes, providing the care, comfort, and companionship to make that time as restorative as possible.

Who is respite care for?

Respite care is ideal for anyone who needs a period of supported recovery following a hospital stay, an operation, or an illness. It's also a valuable option for full-time carers who need a short break, safe in the knowledge that their loved one is being cared for with the same warmth and dedication they would provide themselves. Whatever the circumstances, we're here to help.

What to expect

During your stay you'll have your own comfortable en-suite room, home-cooked meals prepared daily by our experienced catering teams, and access to the activities and social spaces that make our homes such warm and welcoming places. Our compassionate care staff are on hand to provide whatever level of support is needed, from gentle assistance with daily tasks to medication management - tailored entirely to you.
How long can I stay?

We recommend a stay of a minimum of one week, and ideally one to two weeks, which gives most people the time they need to rest and regain their confidence. Please get in touch to discuss availability and find the arrangement that suits you best.
Our homes
